Perform. Data

In 2015, standardize testing of students in Connecticut changed from the Connecticut Mastery Testing (CMTs) to the Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) standardized tests. SBAC testing is aligned to the Common Core State Standards and is used in several states. Member states include: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Neighboring states of New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts are part of another standardized testing consortia known as Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) also based upon the Common Core State Standards.
